What should I get my fiance for his wedding gift?
Heather asked:
Ok I am getting married next month and I need a little bit of help with wedding gift. We have been dating for almost 4 years so I have pretty much given him everything that he has ever said he wanted. For our one year anniversary I gave him a Harley Davidson plated zippo with his initials engraved onto it and he lost it so I found another one a couple of months ago and have been hiding it. Well he ended up bfinding one too and buying it and was going to go get it engraved so i had to give it to him because I didn’t want him to waste the money. So that was my first option. Well then I wanted to give him a gift certificate to go skydiving but with the wedding and having to already take almost 2 weeks off of work for that and the honeymoon I decided that I am going to give him that next year on our anniversary. So does anybody have any ideas of what I could do? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Wow some of you people are really fucking rude. Just because I bought him a lighter you want to automatically assume that he smokes. Well he doesn’t!

hi
i think you can give them oil painting from their photo means turn their photo in oil painting it will create nice impression on them.
Capture that special moment.turn it into a masterpiece that will last forever!
i suggest u to look at this site i think it will help u,
A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.
Check out this site:
The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.
Hi,
Give him something that when he looks at it, he cannot get his eyes off it. Something that reminds him of his favorite hobby for example.
To do that:
Grab a photo of him doing the thing he likes most. Use, professional artists will transform it into a painting. Not expensive.
They handle everything, just provide the photo or photos.

There are some really good ideas here (some dopey ones too) . I think you should get him something he will have forever, something that he could pass on to any children you might have one day such as a wrist- watch with a special message engraved on the back or a pocket watch,cuff-links, a beautiful photo-frame with a special photo of the two of you in it, a hip-flask with an engraved message on it. Something that could remain in the family for generations to come.
Make it about him and not too wedding related. My Fiance like s an occassional cigar so i am buying him a humidor. The groomsmen will be meeting up at our house and we are getting them engraved shot glasses. So I am sending my brother over there with the Humidor filled with cigars and a “small” bottle of Patron Tequila so the guys can have a toast with him. (I don’t want them drunk that’s why it is going to be small). The mushy stuff will be in the card I send him. It dosen’t have to be big. Think about the things he likes. If he is into sports go that route, I once bought my fiancee a dartboard cabinet with his favorite team logo on the outside. If he likes beer maybe a nice stein. If he is professional a nice pair of cuff links or card holder. Think about what he likes and go from there.
How about a watch and have it engraved with something like “I love you every second of every minute” or “I look forward to having the time of my life with you” or engrave the wedding date.
You’re right… some of the answers are rude… and most are just unhelpful.
Oh well.
I would suggest lingere that you have always been too afraid to wear. The sexiest stuff you can find. That kind of thing is like wrapping up the greatest gift of all (you!) in the coolest, most interesting wrapping paper imaginble!
But if you’re going for something a little more low-key, investigate the place you’re going for your honeymoon, and see if they offer “honeymoon packages” at any hotels, resorts, cruises (or whatever you’re doing). Some of them do a full day spa, others offer special dining, some will even sprinkle rose petals over a special bath made for the two of you.
There’s also always the gift of something home-made. You could write your “Story of Us” and include pictures to help tell the store (Office Depot does a special book-binding on booklets of 100 pages or less for around $7-$8, and it looks really professional).
Congratulations on your wedding, and best of luck!

you don’t need to buy a gift. But why don’t you express your feelings and make a beautiful wish for your love and your future?
It’s new, it would be unconventional and romantic…
Buy him a spot in one of those stop-smoking seminars.
You do not need to get him a gift. The wedding is going to be enough. If you really feel you need to then do something for him instead of buying him something.
You say that you’ve already given him pretty much anything he’s ever wanted, then maybe you don’t need to get him a gift. Why don’t you save yourself some money and just be thankful you have found each other. You two will get more than enough gifts!
DOES HE HAVE A BIKE? GET HIM A H/D JACKET OR VEST.
just get him a cheap bic lighter. that way if he loses it, its no big deal………anyway, he shouldn’t smoke anyway, its gonna kill him sooner or later.
Your wedding gift is each other.
