what is the best gift that we can give to my husbands boss and his family?

my husband is a phd student and his mentor has given us his old car which he no more uses, and we want to thank him with a gift to his family. what can we give them for around 50 dollars, or less. his family likes fishing, hiking and to travel.

How about a nice little Bonsai Tree for there home… something inexpensive but would last for years…
If you don’t mind the gift voucher idea then you could get one for the family to go to the movies. Gift cards from the cinemas can include tickets and $ value to go to the snack bar.
This way the family can all go out together – something they might not normally indulge in.
The other option is a gift basket filled with snacks, magazines for Mum and Dad, some scratchies (so they can win a prize), chocolates or sweets and perhaps a board game they could take away with them on their out of town trips.
By making it yourself you will be able to put more goodies in it, but if you are short of time there are plenty of online companies who can arrange it for you.

because your budget is very low so i think that if you concentrate on kids only then you can fulfil the requirement. my idea to gift them is something related to kids for example a good skate board , sports bicycle , something attractive for kids. i told this because what i think that every person feels happy when his or her children/grand children feels happy.
Get him a $50 gift voucher for a sporting goods shop. Then he can select what he wants. If he’s into fishing, hiking and travel, there’s any number of things he’d be able to use it for.
