What is an appropriate bachelorette gift for your future sister-in-law?

I have no idea what to get my future sister-in-law for her bachelorette party gift…the invitation says we are going to have a “lingerie wingding,” however as I try to find ideas online it says that a sister-in-law should never purchase lingerie (I can understand that)…so what do I get. Keep in mind that I have to be able to fly with it, or I will have to mail it ahead of time. PLEASE HELP!

You can get her omething unique and sentimental at the same time. You can choose to give her a nice canvas printed with her favorite photo. Here’s the source I used for my sister’s gift:
Get her some nice silky pajamas from Victoria’s secret or Fredericks. She will definitely use those way more than lingerie and if wont be embarrassing for either of you.
buy her a giftcard to VS or a spa.
I would probably say a gift card for a spa. Like a ****** and massage. She can use it the day before the wedding to help relax. Depending on how close you are, you can get her lingerie. It all depends on what kind of friends you are. I would go with something like the message and ****** though. She would love it I’m sure.
Well if she is having a lingerie party , she’ll get heaps anyway .
One more set wont really make a difference .
Why not buy her a nice new pair of black heels or something to wear with the lingerie ?
Cause she could always wear them again & it will be something that everyone can see on her , unlike lingerie .
Or even candles , massage oils , a set of satin sheets , or if you really want to – go into an adult shop & buy one of those naughty games , even if she doesn’t use it it will still be good for a few laughs the night of the party .

First of all, don’t listen to those people.
It’d be incredibly sweet of you to go all out and buy her some very **** lingerie.
Have some fun with it, has some really great ideas!
But, if you aren’t comfortable with that, get her a $500 gift card to Victoria’s Secret or something like that =)
lingerie shower – well if you are uncomfortable giving lingerie then what about a pretty pair of slippers to go with what other are buying her? you know something with a bit of sparkle or fluff on the toe and a little heel?
or
several different pretty patterned pantihose
or
a beautiful silk slip – that would be a very nice gift
all would work at a lingerie party without being to prudish or anything!

a gift card to her favorite store (Victoria Secret, Fredrick’s of Hollywood) would be great! She could pick out something she would like to wear and you don’t have to be embarrassed about the gift you are giving.
How about a gift card to Vickys secret or Fredericks?
At my bachelorette party I got tons of lingerie…which was awesome… but in reality, you don’t wear it that often. My maid-of-honor’s mother got my this really amazing robe from Victoria’s Secret and a matching nighty… the nighty isn’t slinky or anything like that… it’s something that I can ACTUALLY sleep in… and I wear the robe everyday… its amazing! It fit in the with whole scene, but it wasn’t as flashy as the g-strings and corsets I also got!
Think about something like that…

Get her lingere!!! Who cares what people think! If you think its what she needs for your brother than go for it darling! You want to make your brother happy? Right?
Otherwise buy some candles and massage oils… that works too.
