What are some good graduation gift ideas?

I’m a graduating senior and I this summer I’m going to have to go to a bunch of graduation parties. Of course I’m only going to give gifts to my closest friends, which is about 10 people. What are some good ideas for my closer friends other than gift cards and money? For one girl, I’m making a scrap book and I would like to know some other cute, creative ideas. Thanks!

You can go to Hallmark, this time of year they have autograph animals, they are stuffed animals without fur and come with a cap on and a pen for everyone of her friends to sign. They also have tons of 2008 frames and you can get them frames with pictures of you and that friend in the frame.
You can also go to a craft store and get a blank frame and paint and decorate it and put a picture of you and that friend in the frame.
You can get them something for their dorm room if they’re going away to school. Posters, some room accessories like fluffy pillows, desk accessories, a cool phone for their room, blankets, etc. Anything you think they would like and would want with them while they’re away.
For those going away you could get a laundry basket and put some rolls of quarters in it (for the machines at school), towels, flip flops, (they’ll NEED that for the showers, trust me!), detergent, fabric softener etc, things they’ll need for school.
You can also get them a little pamper kit with some lip gloss and some hair and nail accessories, some of her favorite make-up etc.
You can go to Things Remembered and have some thing engraved that have to do with the two of you, friendship poems, shirts, etc. Hallmark has a lot of things for the graduate too.
You can also buy frames and do one scrapbook layout instead of doing a whole book. Michael’s sells 12×12 scrapbook layout frames and you can make a layout with pictures of you and that friend and frame it in the frame and even paint/decorate the frame so they can hang it in their room or dorm room
You can make them a snack bucket. Go to Linen’s and Things or Bed Bath, and Beyond and go to their bathroom section and get a mini garbage pail. Get a really cute one and fill it with her favorite snacks. Then go to a party store and get some 2008 graduate decorations to put in there too. Or you can do this with a basket, etc.
If they’re going to colllege and you have access either to the store or online you can get them a sweatshirt to their future college.
You can get them a nice pair of earrings or a friendship bracelet. Something with both of your birthstones. Something with class of 08 and your names engraved into it.
You can turn all the pictures you have into a slideshow with music in the background. Make it into a DVD slideshow.
You can go to build a bear and make them a bear or whatever animal you think they would like.
What about going to Mrs. Fields and bringing one of the big cookies and have Congratulations written on it?
You could also do a cookie bouquet, but they’re rather expensive. You can get them with one or two cookies, the website cookiesbydesign.com does them.

Scrapbooks are a great idea!! And maybe a video or DVD with pictures and music…one of my friend’s parents had one made for her graduation and it was awesome.
