My sister is getting married in a month from now and I want to buy her a wedding gift. I want it to be something really special, even if it’s expensive, especially since there’s a chance I might not be able to attend the wedding(unfortunately). Any one has any suggestions?

My friends are getting married next month. They are going back to their hometown for the wedding, which is halfway across the country from where they live. I don’t live in their hometown either. I wanted to give them a particularly large gift from their wedding registry. Is it okay to send it to them before the wedding? That way I won’t have to travel with the large gift and they won’t have to lug it back home after the wedding.

What is a creative and non-registry gift other than cash that you have received for your wedding. I want to give something practical but unique. Fine china, crystal, bath towel, or kitchen appliances seem kind of boring.

I was invited to a co-worker’s wedding (along with the rest of our 12-person office) and I really don’t know this person very well. How should I handle the gift from my boyfriend and I in this situation? I don’t think it would be fair to expect me to give as much of a cash gift as I would to a family member or close friend. She did not indicate in the invitation where she is registered. Should I ask? How should I go about that without sounding cheap?

When invited to the wedding as a couple, do we have to give a double the money worth of gift? For example I usually give about $100 gift but now i and my fiance are both invited, so do we have to spend $200 all together?
