My friend I only see one time a year can only get together with me on THursday to go Christmas shopping, so I’m going to call in sick. There will be enough people to cover me, but I feel quilty, because I never do this.

My boss just annouced that she is leaving and taking a position in Texas. (She lives in Pennsylvania now.) I have sort of taken charge of finding a farewell gift to give her from our group of 11 employees. Some people have suggested a gift card but she is somewhat of a mentor to me so I would like to get her something meaningful. Something to remind her of the many good times we have all shared. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you know how much money we waste on a Hallmark Holiday?
I hear from people that it’s just a Hallmark holiday and not a very important one…..So there’s probably no reason to why I should get my special someone anything at all then huh.
Do you people think that getting drafted and reaching the pros is plausible for an average high school player who isn’t recruited at all, but works out everyday and practices non stop? I guess what I’m trying to ask is are most mlb players naturally gifted? Does it ever happen that a player comes out of nowhere to play in the pros?
I’m a graduating senior and I this summer I’m going to have to go to a bunch of graduation parties. Of course I’m only going to give gifts to my closest friends, which is about 10 people. What are some good ideas for my closer friends other than gift cards and money? For one girl, I’m making a scrap book and I would like to know some other cute, creative ideas. Thanks!
