I am a receptionist for a small wealth management firm and I need some advice. It’s my boss’s birthday on Labor Day and I really don’t know what would be an appropriate gift. I want to get him a little something, because he’s been quite helpful to me since I’ve started here (I’ve been here about 5 months). He’s maybe in his mid 60′s, conservative, seems to have everything! I don’t want to seem like a pushover either. Any suggestions as to what would be appropriate?

My fiancé and I are planning an outdoor wedding at a golf course, but I’m a little worried about the date. We are planning to have our wedding on the Sunday before Labor Day.

How late do golfers typically stay out playing during the summer? Our ceremony is set for 5:30pm. Will the amount have dwindled down by then?

And generally, will it be extra crowded on the Sunday before Labor Day because of the holiday weekend?

I will be flying on the Saturday of labor day weekend. I once saw a web site that listed the the busiest and slowest times of the year for flying, but I can’t find it anymore.

Is this a busy time of year to fly? I would like to know if I should arrive even earlier than the recommended time for the security and check in.
