Ok so I still don’t know what I want to wear for the first day of school. can you please make me an outfit? I have a 30 dollar gift card to American Eagle so please have it mostly be from there if you can. i am in 7th grade and my pricipal doesn’t allow skirts, shorts, flip flops (including adidias) or tank tops. so if your gonna use a tank top please including a shirt over it or a under or a sweater. thanks!
p.s. please have it be something most other people won’t wear, like something exciting besides just a plain old shirt and pants.
=)

I haven’t seen my friends all summer. I am 11 and planning a Welcome Back party before school starts. I am inviting 10 girls for a dinner party about 2 hours. I want balloons and streamers for decorations. How much would that cost. For dinner I was thinking my Dad could make pesto, salad and chicken. I went to Von’s.com and for drinks, food and snacks I got 40$!! For a trivia I was thinking 3 rounds Music, Movies and TV. For prizes a 5$ gift card to Robex, Target and Arclight! I need help on how to earn money for decorations and prizes as well as a way to get my dad to pay for food! Were can I get the best deals in LA? HELP!

I attended a bridal shower for a coworker about a month ago. Soon after, she told all of us at work that the wedding was off and she returned all of her gifts to the appropriate givers. The problem is that I feel bad taking the gift back (it was a gift card that can be used even if she is not getting married), but I don’t want to embarrass her by insisting she keep it. What do you think is the best thing to do?

My husband’s co-worker is getting married. My husband is an attorney and works in a professional office. We are going to the ceremony and reception. I don’t believe in the “pay for your plate” theory because I had a very fancy wedding (which cost my parents a bundle) and we never expected guests to pay for their plate via a gift or monetary amount. At that point they are not “guests.” What would be a nice amount to give under the circumstances. I haven’t been to a wedding in a few years and need some good info.

A man who you’ve been seriously dating for some time gives his co-worker (boss) a gift card from Victoria Secrets as a wedding gift. Is that professional? Would you be concerned especially if he has never bought you anything (as far as clothes) and you have never met the person. You were not even invited to the wedding. What do you think?

They are in the process of building a new home. Last year we got them a gift certificate to Lowes to help with their building supply cost. This year we were thinking about getting them a gift card from JcPenney. The only thing is that I do not think it would benefit the male boss. Help me with some suggestions.

My boss just annouced that she is leaving and taking a position in Texas. (She lives in Pennsylvania now.) I have sort of taken charge of finding a farewell gift to give her from our group of 11 employees. Some people have suggested a gift card but she is somewhat of a mentor to me so I would like to get her something meaningful. Something to remind her of the many good times we have all shared. Does anyone have any ideas?

Sweetest Day now largely involves giving small presents such as greeting cards, candy, and flowers to loved ones. While it is not as large or widely observed as Valentine’s Day, it is still celebrated in parts of the United States, despite persistent allegations of being a “Hallmark holiday.”
Retail Confectioners International describes it as “much more important for candymakers in some regions than in others (Detroit, Cleveland and Buffalo being the biggest Sweetest Day cities)”. In 2006, Hallmark marketed 151 greeting card designs for Sweetest Day.

hello! asked:
I have a guy friend who is turning 22. I want to play it safe (as far as the gift goes), but I don’t know what to get him. He also has a GF who is not fond of our friendship, so it can’t b anything that a GF would normally get him, meaning it has to be a gift from just a friend. I got him a gift card last year, so it has to be something else this year. He doesn’t smoke, and I don’t know if he has any hobbies. His B-DAY is May 31, so I have to think fast!
