My boyfriend and I have been dating for a few months and his birthday is coming up. All his other girlfriends got him material gifts. I would like to cook him his favorite meal, buy him a *** gift, and then also get him something serious…Then take him to this island place on the water (even tho its a little cold…..) but build a fire & bring some blankets…if you were a dude would you be interested in this or is it lame?

This is “Merry Tossmas,” an ostensibly humorous little video reacting to catalogs that say “holiday” instead of “Christmas.” He’s all offended that they say “holiday” (never mind that people give gifts for Hanukkah and the Winter Solstice, too), so his “new holiday” is “Tossmas,” where he tosses holiday catalogs in the trash.

Yep, the cheerful sound of “It’s CHRISTmas, not just a *holiday*!” whining starts up again. Makes me long for carols. And I **** carols.

So what do y’all think?
Once again: PEOPLE GIVE GIFTS ON HANUKKAH AND THE WINTER SOLSTICE. Which also happen in December. Which he ignored and which others, apparently, would love to ignore.

As a Witch, I think I get his point, which sounds an awful lot like “Sit down, shut up, and just be happy you’re permitted out in public to buy anything.”
Hey, MH, no need to apologize for someone else’s jerkiness. I do thank you for reminding me that not all Christians feel this way, though.
