Should I give my boss a gift I received?

I received tickets to an event in exchange for doing business with a client. We don’t receive any perks at my work and anything we get from clients is to be cherished.
I want to bring my wife to the event so should I just pretend I didn’t get anything and hope he doesn’t ask?
What if he asks and wants them? I could totally seeing him saying “the only reason you got those was because you work for me, so give them to me.”
Thanks for any help. Have you ever received a gift at work and not wanted to tell your boss in fear of him taking it for himself? Thanks.
