He’s never fly fished before but is very experienced with all other fishing aspects. I’m looking to spend under $200 total on a rod and reel, and don’t want some cheap-o “beginner’s package”. the hard part is she isnt like this all the time and I embrace those times.. but they usually dont last..

The other thing is that since I am going to have to ship it, it has to be something not too delicate, or that can be easily and safely packaged.
Please, help. I really can’t think of anything that doesn’t require a lot more planning ahead.
