I jus got my friend a b.day card and it was suppose to be humorous but i don’t kno if i like it any more. it says on the front, “its not the gift but the thought that counts…” then on the inside it says, “so I thought really hard about getting you an expensive gift!” Happy Birthday! then i thought about giving him some money but not to much. we both like each other and i didnt want to go buy him some clothes or anything since we’ve been only talking for 4 1/2 months.

That card is fine. Money is tacky. Give him movie tickets and tell him he has to take you, it’s inexpensive and guarantees a date!
