Hi I’d like to know what type of restaurants an 82 yeard old would like to go to celebrate his birthday, also we have been looking for a nice present but still can’t find something that he’ll enjoy..
any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated..he likes to golf and eats a lot…if that helps..

romantic gifts
well…what kind of food does he like? whatever his favorite is take him someplace like that- Italian, Chinese, Mexican, steak, seafood, etc. try someplace new maybe- unless he has a favorite place he goes all the time then just go there.
for a gift- how about some personalized golf balls with pictures of family members on them or a golf towel, or maybe a travel mug with photos on it.
another great gift for older people is a coupon book of stuff you and the family can do for him- old people really don’t like getting “stuff” they like ot spend time with people. make coupons for- take you out to eat, mow your grass, shovel your driveway, come over and do a puzzle together, take you to the movies- stuff like that and then you can be totally creative to things he would like to do like golfing.
gift cards to restaurants and golfing places would be nice also (if cold weather by you maybe there is an indoor golf range he can go and hit some balls). if he lives alone maybe you can hire “Meals on Wheels” to drop off some meals for him so he doesn’t have to cook or eat out.

gift ideas- nice shirt, slippers, socks, robe, bonsai/bamboo tree, pajamas
