Is it safe to wear white after labor day during the month of September?

My Job is having a cookout next weekend and i’m planning on wearing a **** n casual white dress w/black corset belt and black heels. I’m not sure if wearing white after labor day is big deal, especially in recent years. Would like to hear from anyone. thanks!!!

Yeah, you can wear white after Labor Day. Don’t conform to old school fashion rules…however, you are going to a cookout…barbeque sauce and ketchup are not good for white! And is it at a park? It may not be the best idea to wear heels to a park, walking through grass. This outfit seems like it would be a great one, but probably more for evening wear, and definitely not a cookout.

i dont think its a big deal but i still wouldnt wear a WHITE dress.. because cookouts/bbq’s can get pretty messy
