Is disneyworld extremely busy the week before labor day weekend?

I’m getting married 8/29/09, my fiance wants to take off to our honeymoon that weekend, but thats the week before labor day and then into laborday weekend-is it going to be kinda dead that late in august, or should we postpone the honeymoon a week or 2?

Late August is better than early August, as some children are already back in school.
But the day after Labor Day, things start to slow down. I’d postpone two weeks if possible.

Yes it will be busy, Disney attendance simmers down right after Labor Day so consider going then instead.

lol Disney is ALWAYS busy! They say the BEST time to go is around the end of september to early october!
I just got back from Disney about a few weeks ago and I couldnt believe how packed it was already since it was the beginning of summer!
