Ideas for a homemade bachelorette party gift?
asked:
My room mate is getting married in August and we are throwing her a bachelorette party this weekend with all the girls from the floor of our dorm.
We go to a Christian college, so we can’t really get her anything “naughty” because certain people at the party would be offended. Other girls are getting her lingerie, but I don’t have much money and can’t afford to buy her a $45 bra from Victoria’s Secret when I can’t even buy myself one.
What are some cheap, cute ideas for a homemade bachelorette party gift?

I know this is going to sounds silly but my sister for every party makes a survival kit:
Bandages- people who fall
Water bottle-need to sober up a bit
Towel (in case there is too much drinking and hey vomit happens!)
Sash for the night- for the bride
Disposable camera
Little bottles of alcohol.
Stuff like that. You can make a little basket pretty in expensive.
You could still go with the lingerie idea and bedazzle a cheaper pair of undies (with rhinestones that say bride or something). Or you can get 5 pairs or VS undies for $25 (the Pink line is usually available for that price). Or go to Kohl’s, TJ Maxx or a similar store and look for lingerie there- they have lots of cute little nighties and things for $25 or less.
A picture frame is another good option. Or some candles to help ‘set the mood’ for her and the Husband to be.
Get her some lube!! Whoohoo!! nah, just get some christian chocolates, cool whip, satin gloves, cherries, handcuffs, etc.. and a picture of jesus. have fun!
A small and cute bachelorette gift can being a smile to the bride-to-be’s face and provide her with continued support as she begins married life. Think about things that the bride might need in her home that she might not have thought of asking for in her gift list – small items such as teatowels, kitchen utensils, vases or oven mitts are handy and useful gifts that can have a cute twist.
For a memorable gift, have each guest bring a flower to give to the bride. The flowers can be kept in a vase until the big day or dried and framed to remind her of the love of her friends.
Another easy to do gift is to ask the bride’s mother, sisters and friends to each write a piece of advice on marriage and keeping a home. Glue each note into a notebook and present it to the bachelorette at her party. Alternatively, collect the bride’s favorite recipes this way for a home-made cookbook.
Have you considered getting her a photo album for her wedding photos?
You could get a fairly inexpensive one, cover it in pretty fabric, put rhinestones and ribbon and whatever else on it, and it’ll look fantastic. It’s my go-to gift for friends who are having babies, and I see it working out well for this, too. All you really need are some craft odds and ends, a glue gun, and the photo album.
