I was wondering what type of heater to use for a Eclipse System Five Corner Aquarium Kit – 5 Gallon tank? gift?

I’ve been reading that the heater should be adjustable, and I don’t want to get rid of the tank since it was a gift. I was planning on keeping a Betta, 4-5 ghost shrimp and another one or two fish if you can recommend some aswell?

There are heaters for sale at pet stores and even sometimes at Walmart that work for 5 gallon aquariums. The rating is on the heater, so it says on it how many gallons it should be used with. This is an example of a 5 gallon aquarium heater:
Just check the specifications on the heater you buy. It will say a range of gallons on it. The one you buy should be appropriate for your size of tank.
