I need an idea and input for a thanksgiving gift?

So my boyfriend is off at college he will be home next weekend and we will hangout but after this break he wont be home till Thanksgiving. i want to get him something small and cute just to let him know that i still care for him alot. Any ideas of small gifts i could get or make him for thanksgiving? Also should i ask him over for dinner the day before or after and celebrate thanksgiving with him then so that he has time with his family the day of thanksgiving?

Why not make him a care package to take back to school with him ? Bake him some home made cookies,get him some of his favorite candy bars,gum,little bags of chips and cracker.And put a cute card in it from you to him.You can go to the dollar store and get pens,note pads and post its. And you should invite him to dinner..maybe the night after Thanksgiving.
He should invite you to his house for Thanksgiving if you are BF/GF. Make him a pound cake that he can take back to the dorm and everytime he takes a bite he will think of you.
