How to flag papers for an interview?
glider asked:
I have a very important interview, i have to carry a lot of documents (more than 100 sheets) and i am not allowed to carry any folders. I have to carry all the documents in a plastic bag. How can i flag them so its easy to take out what i want with ease and without wasting any time? Are there any links which lead to websites which explain how to flag papers?

There are small plastic tabs that can be applied to an individual piece of paper. The tabs are about 1 to 2 inches long, have a place where you slide in a strip of paper (included) that identifies the document, and has a peel & stick piece that adheres to the page. This tab is permanent.
Another option is to get what are called Flags. These are small colored tabs that go on an individual piece of paper. I have had some luck writing on these. The benefit of this type of tab is that it can be removed.
MY FAVORITE: Yet another option is the tiny post it note. These are barely 1 by 2 inches. They come in a dignified yellow. You place the sticky part of the post it note on the paper, leaving some hanging beyond the document. What I do is write what the document is on that edge handing off the document. When I hand the document to the other person, I pull off the post it note. They are none the wiser and I keep organized.
All of this can be found at your local office supply store.
