<a href="http://excitedeyeshopping.com">christmas shopping</a>

Does your daughter like to bake? If so, it would be fun for her to have a little bake sale for the neighbors or family friends.

She could plan a yard sale to get rid of old clothes and toys to make room for new ones!

She could make homemade ornaments from popsicle sticks (make a reindeer by giving it eyes and a mouth with a black Sharpie, glue a red puff ball on for a nose - and glue red or green ribbon, tie the top so it can be hung on the tree.) - Then she could sell those.

You could give her a list of house chores that she usually isn't responsible for and put a monetary value next to each, let her choose which she wants to do (a few that are worth more or several chores worth less.)

These are just a few ideas, but I think all of these will teach her that she has to do some work to get money. I'm always in favor of children learning from experiences like these, learning life lessons about making money, saving money, and managing money.

You should also check out Dave Ramsey's books and DVDs for teens and kids on how to manage money. It would be a great chance to teach her about saving and setting herself up for success in the future :)
