free knit pattern for bikini bottoms?

I am looking for only a knit pattern for a bikini bottom&there only seems to be crochet on the net. I am make a bikini bottom as a *** gift for a friend’s birthday that is in May.
this is the first time knitting a bikini bottom for me so I need a easy/beginners pattern for the bikini bottoms.

If it really is only to be a *** gift, make your own pattern. Honest. It’s not that hard. Use a calculator to do the math, and figure out how many stitches you’ll need by using the gauge given on the yarn wrapper.

i would consider myself somewhere in between a beginner and an advanced beginner, so I think you could possibly do this. I saw this bikini on knitty gritty. it’s really cute. make sure to get the yarn they suggested as you can wear it in the water.
