I have gotten back into collectiong sports memorabilia, especially baseball, and as all of you hopefully know it is baseball’s offseason. If I send a letter asking for autograph and send it to the teams address like you are supposed to do, will it get to the player? Or do I have to wait untill baseball season?
I was wondering If I can mail them.

his career was great, and i loved him when i was younger, but i’m affraid if i hold onto it for too long, he will sort of become forgotten, and his memorabilia wont be worth as much. i have seen prices right now arround $100-$180. are there any sports memorabilia experts who can help me?

What are the names of those two guys with the mustaches that used to sell baseball cards and sports memorabilia on TV? I think they were on the Home Shopping Network, or similar channel.

He played for the Columbus minor league team, which is called the Clippers now, although I don’t know if that was the case back then. Any piece of memorabilia that has his name or photo on it will help me.

Air Jordan1 asked:
Alright, stick with me here please.
Yesterday, Pedro Martinez was a my brother’s game because his son is on my brother’s team (teammates). During the game, there was a line for him to sign baseballs and stuff. I came prepared with two baseballs and two Pedro Martinez cards. He signed them.
Where can I sell the signed baseball that I got? On ebay, sports memorabilia store, ect. Do I need the certificate of authenticity as well or no?
i have 3 balls signed now, how much would u pay for it?

Josh Hancock, pitcher for the Arizona Cardinals, died on Sunday April 29th from a car accident… this is soooo sad, and I would love to have his baseball card as a memorabilia. I buy Upper Deck cards, but I’ve never gotten his. Any suggestions?

Tayls asked:
I’m 17 and my boyfriend is turning 19 on Saturday, the 6th. We’ve been together for 3 years. He’s really into baseball and since we’ve been together all I’ve ever gotten him is autographed baseball memorabilia and I’m getting really bored with that. It will be too cold to do anything outside. He already got a lot of electronics, cds and movies for Christmas.
I already got him some more autographs and I’m going to bring him breakfast, but I need more ideas.
I don’t want anything sexual, or the “love coupons” things.
Anything else??
He already got all the video game consoles/games he wanted for Christmas.

How do i validate the authenticity of sports memorabilia if I am unable to locate the business the coa is issued from? I purchased an autographed baseball bat for my boyfriend on ebay. The coa has the companies information on it, but I cannot locate them online to validate their reputation.

Baseball memorabilia experts have pegged Barry Bond’s 756th home run ball value at $400,000 to $500,000. That’s well below the $3.3 million fetched by Mark McGwire’s 70th home run ball in 1998. Why?
