My house look like a war zone. Impossible to change room without tripping on a dog toy or bone. I keep his toys in a basket he can reach and he picks what he wants. I am sure this is not the way to do it!

Our toy fox terrier (6 yrs old) is a little spoiled being the only dog, but we are going to add a new dog – Pomeranian (6 months old) to the family. I’m a little bit concerned about our fox terrier not adjusting well. What can I do to introduce them? Will fox terrier adjust with time or will she continue to exhibit her authority? Your suggestions/recommendations/advice are appreciated.

My dogs (a beagle and a lab) get a kick out of completely destroying every toy I give them!! I love surprising them with toys, but within 48 hours, they are usually in tiny pieces! I usually stick with ropey toys, but every now and then I’ll give them plush dog toys. They have a little plush soccar ball thing at the moment that has so far survived for 5 days (woo hoo!!)…

So any toy suggestions for dogs who are serious chewers?

i was recently in a dollar store and i saw this dog toy (rope for tug of war, and looks just like a real rope perch form the pet store) and i was wondering is the anyway i can modify that tug of war rope into a bird perch? I’m not sure how to attach the rope to the cage so the bird can go on it. (i can’t really put a ***** in the rope because its made out of rope and the ***** wouldn’t do anthing) So is there anything i can add(or something) to the rope to make it like the rope perches at a pet store?
