My dog has a toy fish and whenever she puts it in her mouth she starts crying and wagging her tail. Is this normal?

I have a 10 month old Labrador Retreiver and he is very good at chewing.
Now before I had this dog, I had another Lab and the other dog was a good chewer, but if we gave him a toy like a Boodah Chew, it would take him a few hours to eat it all. But here is the thing, the old dog was a dog who would chew something until it was gone, but this dog will chew his toys in multiple sittings. He will eat Kong Toys with peanut butter in one sitting, but the problem is, this new dog is a genius. He knows how to open the doors of the house, he knows how to unscrew lids. Its rediculous.
So I was wondering if there is a rough dog Chew toy (Doesn’t need to be reusable) that is good to keep a Lab busy and interested.

If we do get a new dog, I need to know of some good squeaky toy brands, collars, bowls, beds, etc. Any ideas? Links to websites would be nice, and the dog is a girl.

My husband and I left for a trip two weeks ago without our dog and once we got home she ran into the guest bedroom and laid in the corner, she is still doing this at least once a day. This is very unusual for her, as she rarely goes into that room. Nothing is buried in there or under the bed by our dog. She does have some seperation anxiety when we leave her at our parents house.
She is now running around carrying a dog toy and whining constantly. She is not trying to nurse the toy as in a false pregnancy but she has licked the toy and seems protective of it, but she is not making a nest or shredding blankets etc. I have no idea why she is acting like this does anyone have any insight?
thanks..we are going to be taking her to the vet soon I just wondered if anyone had experienced this.
My dog is a female black lab 2 yrs old and is not spayed. We were going to breed her but she is rather small for a lab so we are not going to breed her and will spay her soon.

My dog is an avid chewer, even though he is only 20 lbs. He quickly chews up any toy we give him, even durable Nylabones. What is the best durable chewing toy (but fairly inexpensive considering he goes through them so quickly) to give him?
