I have a guy friend who is turning 22. I want to play it safe (as far as the gift goes), but I don’t know what to get him. He also has a GF who is not fond of our friendship, so it can’t b anything that a GF would normally get him, meaning it has to be a gift from just a friend. I got him a gift card last year, so it has to be something else this year. He doesn’t smoke, and I don’t know if he has any hobbies. His B-DAY is May 31, so I have to think fast!

He said I was a loser because I have told everyone we know that he gave my gift away. That is what he said on my anwering machine. He told everyone that he said that he didnt want to give away what was the gift. Which is false. So he is mad at me. I told him don’t ever call me again because I dont appreciate the fact that he called me a loser on my answring machine. He said that I was too stupid to be a paralegal and that Ihave no concept of the English language. He told him he s the loser for calling me a loser on the machine. He has been calling my ansering machine every 2 three hours since XMAS eve and leave messages calling me a loser. I am debating if I should use caller block but if I do he might harass me on my cell or my family’s phone line. His behavior has gotten worse because he has not been working for 6 months and that his holiday plans went ary. It is not my problem that his life is upside down. Should I contact my county police department if this continues?
I was told that the police cannot do anything because harassing calls is not high priority for them.

A girl I really like (have a crush on) is moving in about a week. She is going to live with her boyfriend who lives several hours away. We are coworkers and tommorow is her last day . I kind of want to get her something that says I’ll miss her, but I don’t think I want to step over the friendship line.

Anybody have any appropriate gift suggestions for this occasion? Less than $100 please.

Is Valentine’s Day just for couples and married people? I am good friends with a woman and I was wondering if it is all right right to give her a card and gift for Valentine’s Day? We were in a relationship last summer, but the relationship ended over 5 months ago now. Since the relationship has ended, we have been able to remain friends and to have a good friendship. I do value our friendship and I do care and value her as a person and friend. I would like to give her a card and gift for Valentine’s Day, because she is a good friend, but I don’t know if I should. Maybe I should let Valentine’s Day pass by. Please let me know what you think. I especially would like to hear from women that have male friends – do they give you anything for Valentine’s Day? Just to let you know, we are both Christians. Thank you for your replies.

I’ve been married for over 4 years and have known him and his family for about 8years…have always had a shallow relationship with my sister in law.. she talks to me one day and the next time she wont… and if my husband and I are in bad terms.. she finds out and takes it out on me.by ignoring me . it’s always been this way and not matter what I do to win her friendship it’s hard and she’s opinionated and bitchy..I sometimes get a gift for my b-day and some years doesnt even acknowledge it or x-mas. She’s so unpredictable.. it’s frustrating.. I have a daughter from a previous relationship and she’s the same way with her and that bothers me so much… but she’s very very generous with our son who’s her newphew.. adores him, and babysits him.buys him everything. and that makes up for her rudeness towards me.. so her b-day is next week.. should i get her something? . I’ve been battling with this for weeks now. need advice
the hard part is she isnt like this all the time and I embrace those times.. but they usually dont last..

I need Ideas for a gift for valentine’s Day for a girl that I like and have known for 2 years and I want to start dating her. I need something that is small and sentimental. We are really good friends and I don’t want to cross the line because I care about our friendship and I don’t want to make it awkward when we hang out. I’ve been talking with one of my closest guy friends who has a crush on me, and he mentioned that he doesn’t like Valentine’s Day becasue of bad memories like in middle school when he’d see all his friends getting roses and not him. I feel really bad and i want to get him something to make him feel good, but I don’t want it to seem ike I like him…
